Although gameplay in Rank Insignia seems complicated, it's actually quite easy: in the planning phase, you can combine different military ranks to generate more and more powerful troops. Just like in clickers, you can add new ranks by tapping on the screen and improving their effectiveness in combat by investing money. When you have your troops ready, then the second phase of Rank Insignia begins: combat, where you fight against tons of tanks, picking them off with your troops by shooting projectiles that cause varying amounts of damage.
The strategic aspect of Rank Insignia is very strong, but the space you have for your troops is very limited, so you have to choose carefully in order to have the greatest impact possible.
